Maja Wiprächtiger is a Reffnet expert

With this accreditation, it can now actively support Swiss companies on their way to greater resource efficiency.

The association (Swiss Resource Efficiency Network) is committed to promoting resource efficiency and sustainability in Switzerland. The aim of the association is to support and strengthen the Swiss economy on its way to a sustainable and resource-efficient future. As a company, you can benefit from by gaining access to a network of experts and resources that will help you to make your processes and products more resource-efficient and thus reduce costs and operate more sustainably. Thanks to funding from the federal government, you as a company will receive three days of consultancy funding.

In addition to Raymond Schelker, Maja Wiprächtiger has recently been accredited as a expert. Thanks to her knowledge of material flow analysis, life cycle assessment and the circular economy, she can provide companies with expert support. She advises companies on resource efficiency, with a focus on furniture, textiles, waste disposal, the construction industry and the chemical industry, among others.

Eco-design test case for mattresses

The eco-design test case for bico-Hilding Anders mattresses showed great potential for savings. In addition to direct eco-design measures, recycling options for waste were also examined. Among the eco-design measures, the use of secondary foam and the use of a pure polyester cover, which is easier to recycle after use, showed great potential for saving resources. When it comes to recycling waste, it is the waste from the production of covers, i.e. textile waste, which can lead to a reduction in emissions through suitable recycling, either within the company or externally.
