Changing regulations, increasing environmental burdens and national/international crises force companies to act flexibly. This flexibility can be achieved by integrating circular economy strategies into quality management.
In cooperation with the Swiss Association for Quality (SAQ), realcycle GmbH (formerly REDILO GmbH) conducted interviews with stakeholders from various industries (food, textile, watches, construction, tech, medtech and packaging) in order to identify opportunities, challenges and possible solutions around the integration of circular economy strategies into a quality management system. Subsequently, the topics have been further deepened within a workshop and new findings have been evaluated.
As a result, three possible challenge profiles have been identified and potential solutions have been developed in order to support companies with a wide range of requirements. The findings have been recorded and published in three white papers.
