Digitalization in the field of plastics: Efficiency, transparency and sustainability
Digitalization is revolutionizing the plastics industry through more efficient production processes and improved transparency along the value chain. At our 11th cycletalk, we will present exciting lectures and offer interesting discussion opportunities on current developments in this area:
- The demand for more and more data is growing louder. GS1 will present what is required, what changes are pending, and how digital developments support these.
- Digitalization is also bringing progress in production. Gain an insight into how data on products and processes can enable more efficient production.
- The Utz Group will share its experiences in implementing digital opportunities to support sustainability in a production facility.
- You can learn how new technologies can support recycling in a presentation from UpCircle.
You can find the detailed program further down on this page.
We are pleased to host the 11th cycletalk in collaboration with the INOS platform «Plastics Technology Meets Sustainability» at the IWK at the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil. The Institute for Materials Technology and Plastics Processing (IWK) conducts research in the fields of component design and production in plastics technology. Curious about what is possible in their laboratory? Exclusively for cycletalk participants, the IWK offers a laboratory tour in the morning before the cycletalk.
Take the opportunity to network and end the day with a joint aperitif!
