Circularity for new materials
Whether bio-based, compostable, recyclable, or recovered from residual materials, innovative materials promise solutions for key ecological challenges. However, as promising as these approaches may be, they only realize their full potential when they are conceived and implemented within circular systems from the outset.
Our event brings this cycle to life with voices and perspectives from all relevant areas:
- Making innovative solutions visible: Startups and companies present their circular material and product solutions – and look for partners for the next steps.
- Sharing experiences and perspectives: Stakeholders from research, industry, politics, and civil society contribute their challenges, visions, and practical experiences.
- Shaping cycles together: The exchange should contribute to further developing new materials and building systems in such a way that genuine cycles become possible, effective, and economically viable.
The following questions will be addressed in various contribution formats:
- What new materials and technologies are available?
- What circular economy options are there for new materials? What are the obstacles?
- What regulatory frameworks are coming our way?
Representatives from the fields of raw materials, material development, processing, recycling, composting and regulation will participate in a varied program of keynote speeches, start-up presentations, field reports and a panel discussion in order to jointly close cycles for new materials.
You can find the detailed program further down on this page.
The 12th cycletalk takes place in cooperation with Innovate 4 Nature is taking place. The accelerator promotes nature-positive solutions by networking start-ups with investors and companies with the aim of building resilient, environmentally friendly value chains in response to ecological risks and global uncertainties.
Take the opportunity to network and end the day with a joint aperitif!
