Career
Daniel Widner studied materials science at ETH Zurich and discovered his enthusiasm for bio-based materials during his master's thesis. After several years of activity and various development projects in the field of applied plastics research, the desire for sustainable materials and material cycles grew. After completing the «CAS Environment and Industry», he was responsible for the development of algae-based packaging at the tech startup noriware. Daniel has been working as a project manager at realcycle since April 2025.
