As part of the "KLW konkret - Verpackungen optimieren" event, we shared our know-how on the circular economy and packaging optimization with the members of the "Made in Zurich Initiative". While the participants developed creative solutions, we supported them with technical expertise.

Melanie Haupt gave a keynote speech to introduce those present to the basics of the circular economy in the packaging sector. The focus was on the sustainability of the circular economy per se and the environmental impact of the packaged product. The focus was on circular economy strategies and the integration of circularity in the design process. The presentation and the key messages extracted from it can be downloaded here.
Workshop on innovative, recyclable packaging
Afterwards, together with Eva Bucherer from Circular Business Models led a workshop. The aim of the workshop was to put the previously acquired knowledge into practice. In small groups, the participants drew up catalogs of requirements for packaging in different areas of application, sketched out packaging and planned its recycling. While they developed creative and innovative approaches, we supported them with technical expertise.
We would also be happy to supplement your event with an input workshop on applied circular economy topics. Take here contact us here!
