Digitalization in the plastics sector: efficiency, transparency and sustainability

Digitalization is revolutionizing the plastics industry through more efficient production processes and improved transparency along the value chain. At our 11th cycletalk, we will be presenting exciting talks and offering interesting opportunities to discuss current developments in this area:

  • The call for more and more data is getting louder. GS1 presents to you what is being demanded, what changes are imminent and how digital developments support them.
  • Digitalization is also bringing progress in production. Gain an insight into how data on products and processes can enable more efficient production.
  • The Utz Group will show you its experience in implementing digital options to support sustainability in a production plant.
  • Find out how new technologies can support recycling in an article by UpCircle.

The detailed program can be found further down on this page.

The 11th cycletalk will be held at the IWK at the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland in Rapperswil. The Institute of Materials Engineering and Plastics Processing (IWK) conducts research in the fields of component design and production in plastics technology. Curious about what is possible in their laboratory? The IWK offers a laboratory tour exclusively for cycletalk participants in the morning before the cycletalk.

Take the opportunity to network and round off the day with an aperitif together!
